Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient information and ensure that all records are accurate and up-to-date
- Manage patient records and ensure that they are organized and easily accessible
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers as needed
- Assist with insurance verification and billing as needed
- Present treatment and financial arrangements to patients
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors

Qualifications:

Are you passionate about pediatric and orthodontic care? Cumberland Dental Specialists is seeking a Dental Assistant who brings positive energy, strong communication skills, and attention to detail to support our mission of delivering exceptional care to children and teens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during orthodontic and pediatric procedures, including appliance insertions and removals, wire changes, aligner checks, examinations, cleanings, and restorative treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient procedures
- Take digital dental X-rays, intraoral and extraoral photographs, and intraoral scans
- Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide support to other team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a dental assistant preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, procedures, and roles
- Certification in dental assisting preferred but not required
- Passion for working with children and adolescents
